Hello I'm really sorry to trouble you but I have a problem with fraps.
Recently I was interested in Machinima for projects for my school.

I tried to record a video using fraps while playing the game World of Warcraft.

While I was recording I lag the whole time while fraps was recording, and the FPS was set to about 30

The server was low populated so I don't think that is the problem, was it my computer specs? or anything else?

I simply wish to make video, nothing real fancy.

Again sorry for taking your time.

Maan... VIA/S3G Unichrome IGP.. is this from Riva TNT times? :D Seriously, first time I hear something about this device. 200% you need a new Video Card, some GeForce 6600, 7600 or 8600 cause they're pretty cheap. After video card, CPU wont live long as well. Best deal would be dual-core, or at least overclocking this one to 2.5ghz

Is there anyway to do a video without the videocard?

because I have a project that is due in 4 days.

Best bet is to turn off the sound record and add sounds in post. Also set the screen capture to half size. That's about all you can do.

Jun's right, but buying a video card won't take much time (go ot nearest shop, buy, and plug-in) and enjoy to much higher quality. What's that project in WoW btw? :)

I want to buy a new videocard but I don't have any money on me to buy something like that.

My english teacher decided that every student should do a project about greek myth. we get to choose one god or
goddess and pretty much tell the class about that god or goddess. The greek god that was chosen for me was Persophone goddess of the underworld.

The fact I already told the teacher that I was going to a make movie troubles me, because she looked way too excited for my project. I suppose I can do one of those screenshot movies filled with chat bubbles like an online comic. I don't know but it seems like my only option left.

You still can do the movie project, but it will be low-quality :/ Cheapest videocard atm. start from 20$ :) So nithing really imposibble. But the slide-show is also an option.
