Ive in the early state of machinima making, and had a question:

How do I make a scene with several characters moving, doing emotes etc,
because until now, when I make a character in model viewer, I shoot a scene, but then I only got one character moving , doing anything etc

How do I do it?

http://www.how2machinima.com/ has all the answers you need. Specifically a post about layers and the first tutorial on WoW machinima.

use a chroma keyer effect on several videos with one background in a separate timeline.
better way to explain this is,

1. record seven pieces of footage of whatever u want
2. get a background for your video.
3.put the first piece of footage into the first bar in the timeline,
4. right click on the footage and select video FX(make sure you put the background under the video or it won't work)
5. select chroma keyer.
6. there should be three bars, first one, put the arrow to the end left side of the first bar of color, second bar, put the arrow on the right end of the color bar, third, out the arrow on the left end of the color bar.
7. that's chroma key.

8. now put the other six pieces of footage on top of you 1st piece of footage, then place them right, then do a chroma key on all of them then you have 7 chars doing whatever they want.
